Spring Break is almost halfway over already. We had a bundle of fun having family here and now that they have all departed it's back to the much needed house cleaning. I kind of neglected all the laundry that was in our room while they were here and now that I have begun doing the laundry I see an end to it... I have done about 8-9 loads already and have about 4 or so to go. I didn't even know we had that many clothes and towels and sheets and anything else you can wash.
In between washing, drying, folding, and putting the laundry away I have been balancing our finances and trying to see where we can cut some money out and put some money into new areas. God has just really been amazing to us and has really blessed us with everything that we could possibly need or desire. I'd have to say lately that I have really been anxious about possibly moving and seeing what type of homes are out there. Well, I was outside and looked at the pool and notices that the entire lanai (screened in porch for anyone outside of Florida) had dirt everywhere from the winter and all the dark sand blowing around. So I put on my amazing crock flip flops and decided I would go out and scrub the entire lanai. It took me about an hour and a half but it was beautiful outside and I have to say that I am pretty proud of how nice it looks outside now. All we need to do now is to clean out all the grime from the pool and give it a good shock and away we go!!! Well, with all of that been said, I think God was telling me that I need to be patient with where we are right now. Our home is way better than we ever could have imagined and we have a wonderful pool. I think I am just going to sit and relax and look through my new decorating book and see what inexpensive things I can do to make this house more like a home for us. Thank you Lord for everything I have because it all comes from you!
