yesterday I had a half a day at school. what a blessing that was!!! ben and I decided to take off and relax while going up to St.Pete Pier. how beautiful it was and how relaxing. needless to say we had some fun and also learned a little about each other over a day's time. it's funny how sometimes you think you know so much about a person when something quirky comes up and you learn even more.
today i decided not to do too much. i have just basically been casually cleaning and hanging out at home. i finally decided on a laptop bag (which is a way cute black bag with white polka dots) and i am excited to get that so i don't have to carry my computer around.
the rains began today...finally. i guess for florida the rain was supposed to start before may but it has only rained 2-3 times so far this fall and today makes #4. i kind of feel like i am in portland or seattle listening to the pitter patter of drops on the roofs but then again i don't think portland has this loud of thunder and constant lightning. florida is known for it's lightning (yes ben we all know that st.pete is the lightning capital of the world) :) well, i hope every one's day goes well. it's time for some jack johnson, john mayer, and nora jones music.

we are still deciding when we can come down. after we thought about it the kids wouldn't be very happy if we came and didn't bring them so we are still looking at the first week of july there just may be more than two of us. pray that the fares drop so that we can make it. we want to come soooo bad.
