Tonight we had our first Friday night Saturate633. We named it that because it went along with our water themed youth group called H20. Anyway, we had such a blast and even though we only had 20 people there it was still a hit and now by word of mouth we will expect more next week at our pirate themed night. Tonight it was a water theme and we played water balloon capture the flag (you have to tag them by hitting them with a water balloon otherwise they aren't out and they can get the flag), a huge soapy slip and slide for fun, and then we played water pool kickball (each of the bases are kiddie pools and the stretch from 3rd base to home plate is a slip and slide and you had to slide to home in order to score). Needless to say we had a blast. Onto the God thing I was praying for 5 visitors last night (2 first time and 3 semi-faithful visitors) well God gave us 4 first time visitors instead and I am a OK with that! What a blessing. :) Our students who decided they needed to step up and be leaders have been doing a fantastic job and I am excited to see where this one on one discipleship is going to take our leaders of our youth and of the church. Please keep that in your prayers it begins on Sunday night and everyone is stoked about taking part in it. Well, that's all for now. soundun...and wet. great for florida right? keep your fingers crossed. we are pretty sure we are coming we just have to finalize things (get tickets...HA) and hopefully we will see you at the end of this week or beginning of next.
that slip and slide thing sounds sooooo fun. we might have to steal that idea!
miss you guys. it's not fair that rob and jen and the kids get to go visit. umph! that was me stomping my foot throwing a fit.
