Wow, this week is going faster than I had predicted. It's ok with me though. I am looking forward to Thursday (it the new Friday)... no for real, Thursday will be test day this week cause we're going on our first field trip on Friday. I'm actually really excited and I think the kids will have a lot of fun. I didn't plan this one but I still can't wait to get out there with the kids and explore. We're going to Pioneer Days to see how they use to do it back in the olden days. It will be neat for me to see because I only truly know a lot about Idaho's history (thanks to 4th grade) so I am anxious to see what they use to do in Florida. I'm sure nothing too different but lots of fun anyway.
Also, Friday is going to be our youth group's Valentine's Banquet except for it's not going to be anything like a banquet. Ben and I decided to change things up a bit this year and I came up with a duct tape theme. It doesn't matter what we wear as long as something we're wearing was covered or made with duct tape. Its a fun and great idea but the bad thing is, I have NOT A CLUE what I am going to do. If you have any killer ideas I'd love to hear them. I want to be fun and somewhat Valentine themed. I though about being a cupid, but well... we won't go there!! Well, that's all for now. Keep us in your prayers as life continues to blow us down the road quicker than expected.
Now that I have been teaching for over a month I thought it was time to get into some kids books again. I really have a passion to teach 3rd grade but that's not what God has for me right now. I am trying to learn whatever it is that I am supposed to learn in first grade, but it doesn't mean that I can't take part in some 3rd grade stuff so I went to the library today to pick up some good books for storytime and I picked up the BFG (by R. Dahal) and the first Boxcar Children book from the series. I use to love reading those books so I am taking a giant leap back in time to grade school all over again. It is kind of fun. It's kind of like hearing a song on the radio from when you were a teen and remembering how cool you thought you were and how ugly your clothes and possibly your hair was. Yes, its something like that... try taking a stroll down memory lane... its funny to see how far we've come in such a little amount of time.

Yeah meg that is awesome. Oh yeah that is quite possibly the largest blog entry in history. I had to scroll down 27 times to read the whole thing, but it was worth it.

What about the yard sale. How did that go. I prefer to block out most of elementary school. My spandex that had one black leg and one red leg scare me as I think back. And no I didn't wear shorts over them, that is why it is so scary.
