God's At Work

Saturday was the Punta Gorda block party, which I later found out meant a "drinking fest", but besides that a group of our core church members and youth went to this block party to share the gospel. We did it using the gospel beads this time rather than painting faces. The morning went real well and 3 people got saved but as the afternoon and evening came God really began to bless and work on peoples' hearts and 10 more were saved. The neat thing about this particular outreach is that we got all their information and they actually live in our area. We can actually follow up and potentially get them discipled and plugged into a church. The other neat thing is that the ones who were saved weren't just kids, we had a few middle school and high school students as well as parents and even grandparents. Just today I was presented a wonderful opportunity to really minister to a young girl and I just though about it and was humbled that God would even allow me to be in ministry, and one that God is doing tremendous things through. I just pray that I can be a vessel that God can work through me. Pray that God will speak through me tomorrow when I sit down with this young lady. Keep praying also that God would continue to use us (our church) for His Work.
