Wonderful Trip

Being able to go to Idaho for Thanksgiving was such a blessing. I really appreciate my wonderful husband who helped with our budget to allow us to go. We enjoyed every minute of it. Seeing my family was such a blast and I couldn't have imagined a better place for us to have Thanksgiving this year. I really wished Matt, Sarah and Cole would have been there too but I'm glad that they are in North Dakota getting things done there. I am so proud of them!
Every once in a while I have some major regrets and I hate having them. I think I should make a list of them so that when I get that "I'm going to regret if I do this.." or a "I'm going to regret if I don't do this..." feeling I'll just take the feeling for what it's worth and do it. Well, I had one of those feelings this past trip. I really wanted to take pictures of my family but it just kind of went on and then when I realized I hadn't taken any yet it was too late. I even thought, Wow I need to take pictures cause I know I am going to regret if I don't cause who knows when I'll get to come home again, and I just didn't want to bother anyone with them so I waited for an opportunity and it never came and then they went to bed, or home. Sad. Well I guess it will teach me some lessons.. I'll never get the pictures if I always wait AND I will take pictures this Christmas time while my other side of the family is in Florida! Sorry guys, we have to take lots of pictures so I won't regret missing out on pictures. :)
Ben and I are cleaning up the house and kind of doing a "winter cleaning" and then we're going to put up Christmas decorations! I am so excited. Although it's always fun to go on a vacation for the holidays I am so excited to have family come and stay with us. I love to decorate and I actually have an excuse to get it all out and go crazy with my decor. The "but Ben, we need ____ to make our house feel more like Christmas" might come in handy this year. Actually, he doesn't like to decorate all that much he is really good about making sure we have everything we need and a pretty good bit of things we want. What an amazing guy!! Maybe some pictures will follow as soon as we are finished. :)
